This is the first year that my girls have been brave enough to have a room of there own. Yes, for the last few years we have stuffed 4 kids into one bedroom, but it was because they wanted it that way. But this time they decided it was time to separate, SO, I got to decorate a little girls bedroom for the first time. Let me show you what I've got!
Sammie is the only one home with me during the days this year, so I'm trying to let her help me with the chores whenever possible. Her favorite by far is making bread because I let her put the flour in all by herself. Usually the kitchen needs to be cleaned anyway, so what's a little more mess?

I love that room! My mom only let us have dumb old white.
Sammie seems to be doing a wonderful job putting in the flour. I bet she helps like my neighbor kids do. I can go to the post office and take care of everything in 15 minutes. With their "help," it takes half an hour.
I love it! Thanks for sharing! :)
I love their room Carrie! Looks like you have lots of time on your hands now. I think that's so great for you & Sammie. She had to share you for so long. I bet she LOVES it!
That is awesome! So how did you do the flowers? Did you paint them on? Are they stickers? It looks great.
Paula, I painted them on. I drew them on big paper first and then traced them onto the wall, since the wall is harder to erase. The superintendent said we could paint the inside of the house, but I don't think this is what he was thinking. Oh well :)
Looks like you are getting all settled in there. Fun Fun. Melissa
WOW! I love it! I can't wait till we close on this house and I can do what I want. ( close on 11/17 ) I will have to show the girls this idea. I bet they would love it.
